Temazcal Ceremony
Sacred Sweat Lodge Purification
The Temazcal, meaning "house of heat," is an ancient Mesoamerican sweat lodge ceremony used for purification, healing, and spiritual rebirth. Benefits
What to Expect
The ceremony takes place inside a dome-shaped lodge where volcanic stones heated in a sacred fire are brought in during four rounds, or "doors," each representing a cardinal direction and element. Water infused with medicinal herbs is poured over the stones, creating purifying steam. Through prayer, song, and deep breathing, participants release toxins, emotions, and energetic blockages in a powerful process of renewal and rebirth.
