Andean and Amazonian traditions are not interchangeable. Temazcal has Mesoamerican roots, while the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition is a modern, cross-cultural practice developed by don Oscar Miro-Quesada. Naming these differences is part of approaching each with respect.
