What this policy covers
This policy explains information connected with visiting the Huachuma Moonlight website and using its optional inquiry form and contact links. It does not replace the privacy policies of your email provider, social platforms, or other external services.
Most pages are static. A separate server endpoint saves optional contact-form inquiries in our self-hosted Supabase database, in a schema dedicated to Huachuma Moonlight. There are no user accounts, online registration, checkout, or payments. Google Tag Manager loads the analytics and session-replay services described below. Hosting and security providers may also use security-related technologies. Photographs and fonts are served from this site.
There are no embedded videos, social feeds, or maps. The documentary and social profiles are ordinary links; those services are not embedded in the pages you browse here.
Technical information when you visit
Delivering a web page involves sending a request to the website’s hosting infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process technical request information, including your IP address, the requested URL, browser information, and the time of the request.
This information may be used to deliver pages, operate the hosting service, investigate errors, and protect against abuse. Providers may keep security or operational logs according to their own practices. Analytics services also receive technical information when your browser connects to them.
Analytics, cookies, and session replay
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Yandex Metrica, and PostHog across the website. These services help us understand visits, navigation, and usability. They may process IP addresses, device and browser information, page URLs, referring pages, timestamps, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling, and may use cookies or local storage to recognize browsers and sessions.
Some configured Google tags also send signals for advertising measurement, including through Google’s DoubleClick services. Other providers’ policies may permit additional uses of technical and behavioral data. Masking the inquiry form does not disable those general measurement requests.
Clarity, Yandex Metrica, and PostHog provide session-replay features that can reconstruct browsing activity. We mark the inquiry form and its confirmation content with these services’ supported masking or exclusion controls. The website does not add inquiry names, email addresses, messages, or saved references to the Google Tag Manager data layer. These protections do not make browsing anonymous or prevent the collection of general page and interaction information.
Each provider processes information under its own practices and settings, which may include processing outside your country. Read the Google Privacy Policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement, Yandex Privacy Policy, and PostHog Privacy Policy. The tools enabled through Tag Manager can change; this disclosure should be reviewed when their configuration changes.
When you choose to contact us
The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, topic, message, and agreement to use those details to respond. Submission is optional. It does not subscribe you to marketing, reserve a place, or assess whether a ceremony is appropriate for you.
The form server stores your name, email address, topic, and message, together with an inquiry reference and timestamps recording your consent and the submission. These records are kept in the site-dedicated huachuma_moonlight schema in our self-hosted Supabase database for Oswal and Joanne to review and reply to inquiries.
An on-screen saved confirmation and reference mean the inquiry was stored. They do not mean an email was sent or your message was read, and do not guarantee a reply. The form does not automatically send email or add you to a marketing list.
You can also contact Oswal and Joanne directly. An email link opens your email application; a telephone link uses your device’s calling service; social links take you to their respective platforms. Information you share is used to read and respond to your inquiry and manage the conversation.
Please keep messages to general inquiries. Do not send health histories, medical records, medication information, identity documents, or other sensitive personal details through the form, email, or social messages. These channels are not intended to receive health information.
Please do not send personal information about children. If you believe such information has been sent, contact us using the address below without repeating the sensitive details.
Service providers and disclosure
Website hosting and security services, including Cloudflare, process the technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Google, Microsoft, Yandex, and PostHog receive information through the analytics tools described above. Contact-form inquiries are stored in the self-hosted Supabase database rather than passed to an automated email delivery service. If you email us directly, or a reply is sent by email, the email providers involved, including Yahoo, process that correspondence under their own practices.
Access to saved inquiries is restricted to people authorized to handle inquiries or administer the service. There is no public inquiry list. The form’s database access allows it to add inquiries, not read, change, or delete existing records. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable legal requirements.
External websites have their own policies
This site links to services including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and source websites. Once you follow a link, the destination may collect information, use cookies, or associate activity with an account you hold there.
Their privacy policies and settings apply separately. Huachuma Moonlight does not control their data practices. You can browse this website without opening those links.
Retention and security
There is no single retention period for saved inquiries, correspondence, technical request logs, and analytics or session-replay data. How long information remains available depends on the reason it is held, applicable obligations, and the retention settings and practices of the relevant services. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion schedule for these records.
No website, email service, or internet communication can be guaranteed completely secure. Please limit your message to what is needed for your general question and avoid sending sensitive information.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can read the site without creating an account, submitting a form, or sending a message. You choose whether to follow an external link or contact us, and what to include in that communication.
Your browser’s privacy settings and tracking protections can restrict third-party requests, cookies, and local storage. Blocking cookies alone may not prevent all analytics requests. This website does not currently provide an on-page analytics consent or opt-out control; the inquiry form’s agreement covers responding to your inquiry, not analytics consent.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain uses. You may also have a right to contact your local privacy authority.
For information in a saved inquiry or correspondence with us, send a general description of your request to the email address below. Include your inquiry reference if you have one to help us locate the submission. Requests are considered under applicable law and may require verification. Please do not send identity documents unless a suitable method has first been agreed. Some requests concern information controlled by an external provider and need to be directed to that provider.
